Welcome to the official website of the Bangladesh Press Club UK. This year, we proudly commemorate our 2-year anniversary, celebrating a journey that began with our establishment in December 2024. The Bangladesh Press Club UK has quickly grown into an essential institution, seamlessly bridging Bangladesh and the United Kingdom. At its heart, our organisation connects dedicated journalists and champions the values of ethical, impactful journalism on a global scale. We are incredibly fortunate to be powered by a vibrant committee and a passionate community here in the UK, whose collective efforts ensure our media voice remains strong, unified, and influential. As we look back on two years of building meaningful connections from London and supporting our media professionals, we also look forward to the future. We remain deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of storytellers and strengthening the cultural and professional ties that unite us. Thank you for being part of our journey. President’s Message

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Bangladesh Press Club UK. For many years, a significant number of Bangladeshi media professionals in the United Kingdom have faced various forms of discrimination and professional challenges, which have often prevented them from coming together as a united community. The situation became even more significant following the COVID-19 pandemic, when a substantial number of Bangladeshi media professionals arrived in the UK. This created an even greater need for an inclusive platform where media professionals could come together, support one another, and work collectively for the advancement of journalism and the wider community. With this vision in mind, the Bangladesh Press Club UK began its journey on 31 December, with the aim of bringing Bangladeshi media professionals together and establishing a socially responsible, charitable and democratic organisation based on mutual respect, equality and professional solidarity. I am proud to say that, within a remarkably short period, the Club has earned widespread acceptance and recognition among its members and the wider community. Our commitment to maintaining a democratic environment, ensuring mutual respect and fostering a strong sense of brotherhood and solidarity has been central to this success. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our Chief Patron, Mr M. Mukhlesur Rahman Chowdhury, for his valuable guidance and support, and to all our members for their dedication, cooperation and continued commitment to the Bangladesh Press Club UK. Our journey has only just begun. I firmly believe that, with unity, integrity, professionalism and collective effort, we will overcome every challenge and obstacle and build the Bangladesh Press Club UK into a strong, inclusive and respected organisation. Together, we can create a lasting platform that not only represents and supports Bangladeshi media professionals in the United Kingdom, but also contributes positively to journalism, society and the enduring relationship between Bangladesh and the United Kingdom.
